Another take on the month-long election process in India. Weddings are getting hard hit by the election this year because they are finding their wedding parties disrupted by a lack of vehicles. Evidently, authorities are taking vehicles for election duty, leaving wedding guests with just motorbikes and tractors.

另ㄧ個鏡頭是印度長達一個月的選舉。今年結婚因選舉而嚴重受創，因為他們發現結婚典禮沒有車輛可用而受阻。顯然地，當局把車輛挪去用在選舉事務上，造成參加婚禮的客人只剩摩托車與農場用的拖拉車了。

We go to India's central Madhya Pradesh for this story, where a shortage of vehicles is causing wide-spread panic among the area's grooms.

[Sashikant, Groom]: "We are facing difficulty because of the elections. Many relatives have not been able to come to the marriage and then the police have taken over the private vehicles. How can people come for the marriage I want to ask? I came in an auto and some people are coming by tractors and motorbikes."

新郎薩西肯說：「因為選舉，我們面臨困難，警察接收私人車輛，許多親戚沒法參加婚禮，我想問人們怎麼參加婚禮？我搭車來，有些人搭拖拉車或騎摩托車，」

Vipin Sharma, a transport official from Gwalior said that election arrangements had been worked out at a meeting with vehicle owners.

[Vipin Sharma, Transport Official]: "The additional District Magistrate had called a meeting of all the vehicle owners and asked them if they could spare their vehicles. If some vehicle owner had twenty vehicles he was asked to spare fifteen, which he did willingly. The vehicles which had been booked for the marriage ceremony in advance have been spared.」

交通官員威平‧夏馬說：「附屬的地區行政官召開過車主的會議，詢問他們是否願意提供車輛，假如車主有20輛車，他被要求提供15輛，這是自願的。原本登記預定為婚禮用的車，就被提供出去了。」
