Dragon Boat Racing

The first Inter School Dragon Boat Championship will be held this weekend.

Organized by the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Association with the subvention of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department the event will be held the Shing Mun River, Sha Tin on Sunday May 30 from 9am to 1pm

Meanwhile, the 35th Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Race will be held in Victoria Habour from 23rd to 25th July this year. Combining an exhilarating, fast-paced dragon boat competition, traditional customs and colourful entertainment around the East Tsim Sha Tsui the event is sure to bring plenty of excitement and enjoyment to both paddlers and spectators.

Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Twenty20

Cricket

The 「Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Twenty20 2010」, organised by the Consulate-General of Pakistan and sanctioned by Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA), will be played at Mission Road May 28 to 30 with HK$50,000 prize money on offer.

This year』s competition will feature the top six teams from the 2009-10 HKCA Sunday League and the China National Men』s Cricket Team. Last year』s champions Pakistan Association and runners-up Little Sai Wan will be competing again.

As a prelude to the final, a special Cricket Sixes match will be played between the Hong Kong Women』s Cricket Team and the China Women』s Cricket Team. The match will be played on Sunday, May 30 starting at 2pm.
