Daytime Emmy nominees announced

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards on Wednesday.

Among daytime dramas, General Hospital was nominated most often with 18 nods in its favor. The nominees for outstanding talk show entertainment are The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Rachael Ray, and Live with Regis and Kelly. Outstanding talk show host nominees are Rachael Ray, Bonnie Hunt, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, and the co-hosts of The View. Morning programs Good Morning America, Today Show, and CNN/American Morning were nominated in their respective categories. The Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out live on CBS on June 27.

Brad Pitt has his eye on 『The Tiger』

Actor Brad Pitt and Director Darren Aronofsky are in talks to bring John Vaillant』s nonfiction book The Tiger to the big screen, according to Variety. The man versus nature tale takes place in Siberia and tells the tale of a tiger that turns on people encroaching on its habitat. This project is in the very early stages of development, but it is being reported that Pitt will star should the project reach fruition.

Aniston linked to upcoming releases

Actress Jennifer Aniston is reportedly connected to two upcoming film projects in development. The actress is in talks to star in the upcoming dark comedy Horrible Bosses alongside Jamie Foxx, Jason Bateman, Colin Farrell, and Charlie Day. Aniston is also reportedly connected to the upcoming Judd Apatow project WanderLust in which she will work alongside Paul Rudd. This would mark the pair』s second teaming after The Object of My Affection. Neither project has been assigned a release date yet.
