印度總理莫迪宣布肯佩戈達國際機場2號航站樓（Kempegowda International Airport's Terminal 2）落成，班加羅爾國際機場（Benaglore International Airport）行政總裁Hari Marar於11月12日表示，該航站樓的設備每年至少可處理2,500萬次旅客，並於僅一個內左右開始營運。
客運大樓內有180種珍稀和瀕危物種、3,600多種植物、620種特有植物、7,700棵移植樹木、96種蓮花等。
植物通過自上而下的灌溉模式進行澆水，其中用水量最少的植物種植在頂部，而需要更多水的植物則種植在底部。
Marar 說：「航站樓融合了傳統和現代主題，反映了卡納塔克邦（Karnataka）的文化。」
